Mircea Dologa

Dr. Mircea Dologa began his investment and trading career in the pharmaceutical and real estate industries in 1987. Once he passed the Series 7 and Series 3 exams, he realized the scarcity of the true ‘know how’ practical tools in financial literature and seminars. After reading hundreds of trading books and attending numerous seminars, the same question kept popping up: Where is the meat? Most of the time, besides the classics… it wasn’t there!

As a registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) with the National Futures Association of U.S.A., he founded a new teaching concept, mainly based on practical aspects of trading, for both newcomers and experienced traders.

He is an international contributor to trading magazines in the USA (‘Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities’, ‘Futures’); the United Kingdom (‘The Technical Analyst’); Germany (‘Traders’ − English- and German-language editions); Australia (‘Your Trading Edge’) and Asia (‘The Trader’s Journal’).

Dr Mircea Dologa has written three books, over 1200 pages and 1100 charts, in his quest to teach the art of trading from the beginner’s level to the highest nowadays standards. The author’s main thought during the three years of planning, conceiving and writing these books was how to optimally reveal the practical aspects of trading.

Dr Mircea Dologa attended New York University and Cooper Union School of Engineering and Science in New York and graduated from the latter with a B.S. in Theoretical Physics. He obtained his Doctorate in Medicine from the School of Medicine in Paris. He also took MBA courses in finance and business management at the University of South Carolina in Columbia and at the French School of Business and Finance (HEC Paris France). After holding the positions of Medical Director and later of General Manager, in 1992 he decided to focus exclusively on his investments and since then he has devoted his activity to financial markets. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Paris, France.

Bob Hunt

Bob Hunt is the creator of the Pattern Trapper On-Line Trading Course and the Advanced Short Term Trading Strategies One-On-One Mentoring Program and editor of the Pattern Trapper Futures Trading Newsletter.

“Ever since the service began in 1999 the personal aspect that I’ve enjoyed most about working with other traders is that it forces me to develop a deeper understanding of why I trade the way that I do. Before I can explain the process to anyone else I must have a very clear understanding of it in my own mind. Working with other traders forces one to confront their own beliefs about trading, and in the process, makes them a better trader.

My overriding objective has always been to make these trading techniques as easily understood as possible. If you should ever have any questions about the newsletter, the on-line course or the methods used, please don’t hesitate to contact me.” E-Mail: RHunt@PatternTrapper.com

John Gilliam

John Gilliam is a professional day trader, trading educator, investor, business consultant, and entrepreneur. His lifelong interest has been in providing business and management consulting to others interested in starting and operating their own businesses. He has over 15 years experience in various investment vehicles including Real Estate, Stocks, Options, Forex and Futures. He joined forces with Tsunami Trading Educators, Inc. to design totally unique trading software specifically aimed at helping self-directed traders build and manage their own portfolios and trading businesses using technically driven trading techniques.

Being tired of the subjectivity of other trading methods and gurus and wanting to create a 100% mechanical “robotic approach” to the markets that takes into account all a trader would need to know to consistently make good money in these markets, he helped create TsuBot -Your Trading Assistant. TsuBot reads what moves all markets in any time frame, Price Volume and Momentum and then upon the occurrence of a proprietary entry trigger, she will signal a high percentage trade opportunity with an audio, visual, and e-mail alert. She will automatically suggest the appropriate profit targets and stops for the trade and call out the profits as they are able to be taken from the market.

John moderates the Tsunami-Trade.com day trading educational chatroom and provides one-on-one personal trading education, training, and guidance for active traders both online and in person.

You can read more of John’s philosophy of trading at www.Tsunami-Trade.com.   He has also posted an extensive LIVE trading video and Webinar library at these links:

Bernard “Bernie” Mitchell

Bernard “Bernie” Mitchell was not always a market guru, nor did he expect to be one. The calling came in 1974 when Bernie found himself paying more attention to the stock market than his 20 year job on Madison Avenue. Committing himself to a new direction he began trading gold futures. Ironically, between 1974 and 1979 all he could do was turn gold into lead. Not exactly the kind of market wizardry he was hoping for. As all good gurus, Bernie immersed himself in market knowledge, learning from the other gurus of the day, Williams, Wilder, Bernstein, but it was really in his own laboratory the discovery was to be made.

In 1981 Bernie developed the POKE system for the commodities markets.  He modified the same system for day trading in 1994 focusing on the S&P 500 Futures and then for individual stocks in 1996. In 2001, he created Fibonacci Cluster Software, a totally unique way of decoding Support and Resistance levels. Fibonacci Clusters can help any trading system be a better trading system. Today, Bernie has emerged as a leader in market technologies, being published in Stock, Futures & Options Magazine Investor Flash and Chartpoint Magazine.  Since 1997 Bernie has published Fibonacci Impulse Strategies Commentary, a market letter that goes out about 20 times a month. Bernie has successfully trained over 800 traders on the “POKE” system, which has now become the Fibonacci Impulse Strategies.

Rick Ackerman

RickAckerman

Barron’s once labeled him an “intrepid trader” in a headline that alluded to his key role in solving a notorious pill-tampering case. He received a $200,000 reward when a conviction resulted, and the story was retold on TV’s FBI: The Untold Story. But to the gang at CNBC, he’s been a pariah for the last ten years – a shoot-from-the-hip kinda guy whose irreverent style got him banned from the show after an interview on Squawk Box was alleged to have gone awry.

His professional background includes 12 years as a market maker on the floor of the Pacific Coast Exchange, three as an investigator with renowned San Francisco private eye Hal Lipset, seven as a reporter and newspaper editor, three as a columnist for the Sunday San Francisco Examiner, and two decades as a contributor to publications ranging from Barron’s to The Antiquarian Bookman to Fleet Street Letter and Utne Reader. His detailed strategies for stocks, options, and indexes have appeared since the early 1990s in Black Box Forecasts, a newsletter he founded that originally was geared to professional option traders.
